Located in Sacramento, California, the Elk Grove Unified School District is the fifth largest in the state and the single largest in Northern California. To help meet the local need for firefighting and prevention professionals, the school district engaged 麻豆传媒 to construct a new Fire Academy at the district鈥檚 Valley High School. The Fire Academy houses the district鈥檚 Fire Science Career Connected Learning program. Students at the academy are taught the fundamentals of 铿乺e 铿乬hting, from ladder use to hose handling. Students also learn how to use a 铿乺e engine, provided at the courtesy of the local Cosumnes Community Service District鈥檚 Fire Department.

Construction consisted of a new 2,500 vehicle storage building, accessibility upgrades to existing buildings, utility services to the adjacent modular classrooms and site work upgrades. 麻豆传媒 Self-Performed the structural framing and mass timber for the project.
